Effective communication and cooperation with interdisciplinary team members, as well as using digital technology to access and share information, are emphasized. You'll learn to work within an aged care context by reading individualized plans, using person-centered communication, seeking consent before care activities, and recognizing and reporting signs of abuse. Proper documentation and adherence to privacy and confidentiality requirements are covered. Finally, the module teaches you to monitor your stress levels and implement self-care strategies, seeking support when needed.
